Danielle's A B A B poem

Yesterday Miss J showed us how to write an A B A B poem. This means that line 1 and 3 rhyme and lines 2 and 4 rhyme. This is the poem I wrote.

                Chocolate

I brought a bar of chocolate,

Then I got a chocolate bunny.

I found a locket,

And it was filled with lots of money.

I went to the shops to buy some chocolate,

But then I went in my friends rocket.

In the rocket I went into a dark closet,

Then I tripped over and ripped my pocket.

Miss J Fri-yay activity

 

Senior School have started Fri-yay's. Each class is doing something different. We all got to put our names forward for different projects like: cooking, knitting, painting, sculpture design, room design and sport. In room 3 we are doing World of Wearable Art.

In room 3 for our Fri-yay we have been doing WOW designs. We have been working very hard and they are looking great!

Whanaungatanga Flowers

Room 3 have been getting creative, with Mrs Daniel, on Thursday afternoons. Our beautiful flowers are inspired by symmetry in nature, our observations of patterns in the native bush walk and the concept of whanaungatanga  (the interconnection of all things).

Ms J city

The creators of the Ms J City are Cameron, Gabby, Tiffany, Gabe and Danielle. The creators wanted to please Ms J when she came back for lunchtime so they built the Ms J City out of Room 3's maths equipment. They did it in one wet day on 1/3/16. They are really happy about their masterpiece. Ms J was really impressed by their imagination.
