ABAB poem by Rubie

On Monday 12 September Miss J helped us learn how to write a ABAB poem. This means line 1 and line 3 rhyme and line 2 and 4 rhyme. Here is my poem.

When I was in my little house,

I saw that I had no cheese,

But just then I saw a very cute mouse,

It jumped onto my knees,

I said to it “would you like to live with me  in this lighthouse”

Just let me get my keys,

But just then it run outside to the farmhouse,

The mouse was chasing some bees.

Whanaungatanga Flowers

Room 3 have been getting creative, with Mrs Daniel, on Thursday afternoons. Our beautiful flowers are inspired by symmetry in nature, our observations of patterns in the native bush walk and the concept of whanaungatanga  (the interconnection of all things).
